i spent almost £30 on this cable and any program i tried to use won't connect everything is plugged in but nothing happens, someone please help.
im new to this so in plain english please!

But what did you want to use the cable for?

make sure the serial port on ur computer is not being used by another program? try another serial port if u have one.
