Howdy!
Today I toke a pic off my car and the house.
Later I transferred them via IrDA to PC.
I have now detailstudy the pics and guess what?
The pics are not optical correct ! !
If u chk the picture (pic2.jpg) and follow the top of the windows
from left to right u will se that i looks like the photo was taken
by an fisheye ! !

- Is this a function in the camera or a bug?

There are nothing wrong with your photo or the cam.
For your info, the lens used on the cam is a 33mm wide angle lens which will produce photo that may seem a bit distorted at the side if you have taken the photo at a tilted angle rather than horizontally.
( This happens on all wide angle lens )

Det kan bli så med billiga skit kameror, taskig optik ger taskiga bilder. Men bilderna duger väl ändå till det dom är tänkta för. Om det är till någon tröst ges samma effekt på de bilder jag tar med min.

Ahem, the MCA25 ALSO does a fish eye effect, and so does the P800, Nokia 7650, Nokia 3650, and pretty much all camera phones/ compact camera's etc. As someone says, its the nature of Wide Angle lenses used on most compact items, to "fit" more into the area, without having to physically move back.
The effect is more pronounced when you take photos at certain angles. I have some pictures somewhere taken with both the MCA 25, and the P800 which exhibit that. Its not a problem, nor is it a fault. If you say you are not getting the problem, make sure you are not using the zoom feature in the MCA. Zooming in does reduce the fisheye effect somewhat.
