For anyone interested in very detailed tech specs on the t68i go to

http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/developerszonedown/
downloads/docs/t68I/t68i_t68ie_wp_r1a.pdf

You *may* have to register first as a developer, but this only takes 2 mins and is free.
Also tech specs for t68 in the developer zone including: syncML over the air configuration, AT modem commands etc.

The thing I'm worried about is on page 25, 1984/Big Brother hybrid service. Not sure I want my network operator to know where I am, especially as they haven't asked my permission.

doesn't matter what phone you are using, the operator can always locate you...

No reason for doing it has never been a reason for not doing it. Also customer profiling by geographic region is a very useful marketing and competitor benchmarking tool and most companies spend good money profiling their customers, it would be handy if you get it for free and updated in real time!!
My first comment was a little tongue in cheek, but now I'm not so sure......

interesting read... paragraphs and text formating supported in ems, imap in the e-mail client, 800kb memory, imelody/vmel and so on..
hmm interesting note on page 32: input systems: ezi text input?!? bopomofo?!?pinyin ??? and stroke?!? im sure one of these are the classical t28 way where you hold the volume button either up or down to make a different letter... but that still leaves 3 unknown...
