Does anyone know if anything like an auxillary ringer exists for cell phones? What I am thinking of is something that I would have at home that would ring a lot louder than the phone does.

My main problem is that my wife won't keep her phone nearby and then complains to me that she missed calls! Another plus would be that I could leave my phone someplace where reception is good and still be able to hear that there is an incomming call.

Thanks!

LOL

I was thinking something like the ringer must exist since they have those phone holders with flashing LEDs that go off when the phone gets a call.

My CCM Navigator car kit amplifies the sound for ringing and handfree operation. You could use one of those with an AC to DC converter and put it just about anywhere.

I saw something on ebay where a little robotic dog barks when you have a call coming in, same principle as those watches that flash when you have an incoming call. So the technology is out there, it's just whether you want a little barking dog or not?
