fone SE, give them your postcode and theyll tell you the nearest service centre.
What could be more difficult?

Newport Retail Park Carphone Warehouse has the software R2D upgrade, however thay haven't recieved the training as yet. They told me they should of recieved the training by the end of May.
If you have bought your phone through the Carphone Warehouse, it is free to upgrade. If not you have to take a reciept into the store with your phone to prove that it's within it's 12 months warranty.

Tried that and they told me to send mine to Celestica and after some of the posts about them on here I dont think I will bother.
Also went along to the CW service centre on Cowbridge Road and they didnt have a clue what they were talking about, the bunch of Morons said they couldnt do the upgrade as there wasnt one available to customers on Orange.....DOH !!!
And BTW thats not a very helpful answer to a simple question is it Andy_P

???
But thats the answer ffs....
If you phone SE they will tell you where the service centre is that's nearest to you. You then go there and give them your phone and they upgrade it.
I assume that's what you were after?
All this p*ssing about with Carphone warehouse service centres is pointless - just do it the way you're supposed to...
Have you actually tried phoning them?

So please tell me what is the actual poit in ringing them if you are from Cardiff and all they do is tell you to send it to Celestica ??? Especially when most of the posts on here seem to complain bitterly about the shitty service that they have had from Celestica ???

dude - i don't think you understand me either.
If you ring that number (it might not be right, it's off the top of my head) and give them your postcode, they will tell you the details of the nearest service centre.
Got it?
There may not be one that close, but I know for a fact that there is at least one in Bristol and thats not a million miles away from Cardiff.
If there isn't one in Cardiff that would explain why it has been suggested to post it to Cellistica but thats not your only option.
So please don't slag this off as an unhelpful post - that is the procedure for getting your firmware upgraded - sorted.
Its infuriating that you say it's not a friendly reply - thats what you are supposed to do to get a firmware upgrade.
What do you want me to say - oh yeah if you go to the magic phone box on the corner of the high street and put in a special coin it will be upgraded automatically ... to get your phone upgraded you need to take it to a service centre (or some CPW stores). To find a Service Centre you need to ring SE. Simple.
