Hello,

Would anybody happen to know whether or not the T610 supports the CH-10 chatboard? I understand that the P800, for example, does not have the drivers for the chatbord, and I was wondering if anybody who is already the proud owner of a T610 could help me with this query.

Many thanks!

what would he need a chatboard you ask??? lol, for the reason the chatboard was conceived, for the reason t10, t18, t20, t66, t65, t68i, t300, r600, etc users would need a chatboard.

i mean... what do you mean???

by the way, i'd say that the chatboard does work because i tested the old ericsson mp3 player in t610 and it works.

3301: Why would I need a chatboard? Well, you could say that I’m a text freak: I send a great deal of SMSs and rely heavily (sad but true) on the calendar, to-do list and notes features. For me, text inputting using the ten number keys is quite tedious. My ideal handset would combine a large screen with a QWERTY keyboard. The reason I asked about the chatboard is because, as I am about to purchase a new mobile, I am torn between the T610 and the Nokia 6800.

Chungagoring: Many thanks for your answer: should the chatboard work with the T610 – that would be really good news.

I'd also like to know if the typing speed is acceptable. I find that on my T300, the fastest text entry method is just multitapping. T9 is slow because I have to move my hand away from the keys to the joystick to select a word, and the letters appear too slowly when using the chatboard. No such problem on my T68i though, I can almost touch type with the chatboard.
