I got the following in a mail from the shop I ordered my T610 from (www.techshop.nu).
Swedish: Igår 2003-05-19 släppte SonyEricsson ny mjukvara till T610.
Det uppmärksammade bruset visade sig vara ett mjukvarufel och kan bli åtgärdat på samtliga auktoriserade serviceplatser och flashpoints i Sverige.
English: Yesterday 2003-05-19 Sony Ericsson released a new software for T610. The much talked about hissing sound has shown to be a software problem and kan be fixed at all authorised servicepoints and flashpoints in Sweden.
Is this true, is it only a software problem?
