I believe that the fimware is updated over the bluetooth radio link using some special bluetooth test equipment. This will probably not be possible at just any SP so they will send it away to have the ugrade done.

Yes, I have sendt my HBH-10 to a Ericsson Service Point in Norway (EMTS Nygata, Oslo), and two weeks later (yesterday) they called me and said that a new Bluetooth headset had arrived to me!

And when i went down there to get it today, I got a competely new HBH-15!!!!!!!

Nice!

Firmware is: R2G

dont actually own one yet.. but here's what another post said about hbh-10
Go to Connect -> Accessories -> HBH -> Settings -> Name

Change the name to "adgjm". When you go back to the settings menu, you will see Version. Press Yes, Yes.
What you will see is the version number, like R2G (this is my HBH-15 version number).

[GDI]Raptor,
Did you just complain about the quality of your HBH-10, or did you ask for a firmware upgrade?

Fredrik:
I told them: "I have some problems with echos in my HBH-10 Bluetooth Headset, I have heard that a Software update fixes this problem

And two weeks later, I got a new HBH-15
