How do you make the SMS alert louder? Tried Tone & Click, both are very soft especially if you carry phone in the pocket. Always miss my messages and end up checking the phone all the time!

Would be great if that can be done. But don't seem to be a way to do it. Checked the manual and tried all different menu settings. I just want it LOUDER!!

Yes i have to agree with you here! I need all aspects of the phone to be louder!, the ring and the sms message, when the phoneis in your pocket! you can't hear jack!

I'm sorry, but I'm really happy with a mobile phone so "silent" like our T68...!! When I'm in a restaurant or in the streets... I find that nothing can be more unpleasant as all the Nokia users with their ugly and laud "beep-beep" when receiving a SMS...!!
BTW... everyone is free...

try setting your SMS alert to "vibrate" too.. that should do the job for now. although a fix from ericsson's firmware upgrade would be nice too.
