Anyone please help?

Are there anyone who actually found Java games that are actually compatible with T610?

Let's start a list here so won't waste time or money downloading them in the end found out it doesn't work.

Check each game's supported device list. You wouldn't be running Mac programs on a PC and vice versa, would you?

Yeah, but its JAVA...
Although Java games and stuff are optimised for each kind of phone, at least for each manufacturer.

Some guys were mentioning Java isn't implemented very well in the T610...

Maybe it can be fixed by a Firmware Update (still brand new this little fellow).

I have downloaded Java games for T720 also can't work (can't even load INVALID APPLICATION) downloaded Nokia series 6 some can load but too damn slow cos really like certain games but it's not for T610. Some said games for 3650/7650 should work tried that but still not.

Quoted from Nokia's docs...

MIDP 1.0 was designed for maximum portability and concentrated only on features that could beimplemented by all candidate devices. Some of those devices had no sound capabilities, hence the MIDP 1.0 specification excluded sound features. Some had very limited graphics capabilities, hencethe MIDP 1.0 specification excluded some of the more advanced graphics features, such astransparency. Due to this strategy, MIDP 1.0 is portable to a wide range of devices and suitable forimplementing many useful applications

Nokia phones have sound capabilities and better graphics capabilities, so Nokia's UI API wasintroduced to make these features available to MIDlet developers. It is intended that such featureswill be covered by future versions of standard MIDP.

The following features provided by Nokia's UI API are important, especially for games:
* Support throughout the implementation for transparency in graphics (making non-rectangular sprites possible)
* The playing of simple sounds.

====

So, unless the T610 supports the identical API, there's no way any Nokia games written with this UI API will work.
