There are no SonyEricsson service stations in the US. There are some rumors that maybe, just maybe, SonyEricsson might allow firwares to be downloaded online. But till then, you might want to try places like:
- go to google
- search for GSM phone firmware upgarde or something like that
By the way, I haven't tried out any of these companies... I do have a URL for one of them that is supposed to be pretty good. It is on my other computer, who's MotherBoard is fried, so I will post it when I can retrieve it.

If you are trying to reach for technical support in North America, call them at 1-800-ERICSSON (1-800-374-2776). Hours are:
Monday - Sunday 8:00am - 9:00pm EST
doesn't maintain localized service points here like they do in other regions. If you need service on your phone, you'll have to send it to their facility in Minnesota. To obtain an RMA, call them at 1-651-229-5862. Hours are:
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 8:00pm CST

@dechutes2001
Virtual dynamix in California (http://gsm.virtualdynamix.com) is a Sony Ericsson Service Point and they charge $25 for upgrades.
Many Howard Forums members have sent them their P800 and are very happy with their service.
If you send your phone to SE, it will be free of charge (except shipping) but you might have to be without your phone for a couple of weeks.

I can second the recommendation for Virtual Dynamix.
I had my P800 upgraded to R2D by them and they did a wonderful job... no problems! Both Sung and Rick are great guys to talk to and they're there to answer your questions when you call.
