well I guess so but now that I have tried it I can't get mine off either! so if he did sort it out a clue would be handy.

Finally got it off! phew!
There is a rubber pad on the inside of the slide off back which presses hard against the battery and that means you need some real effort (on mine anyway) to get the initial movement. And the back has to slide down the phone on rails, not pull away from the phone like the battery/back does on the T68i.
Ok, I am happy again!
