You can visit the official homepage
mophun.com for a press release in English. A demo with Nokia 3650, 7650 and SE P800 is also available. Looks good to me. I don't expect to see it in SE T610 though.

Here my Swedish to English translation my friend:
The game-engine Mophun that among others has been used in Sony Ericsson T310 and T610 is arriving now in a new version with support for 3D-games.
According to Synergix Interactive that develops the game-engine it is going to be possible for many players to play against each other with the new version. Also the sound is going to be better and the graphics three-dimensional.
Mophun is created for mobile phones and handheld computers with the operative system Symbian and the new version is going to be available among others for Nokia 3650, Nokia 7650, Nokia n-Gage and Sony Ericsson P800.
The revised program with the 3D-version is going to be installed in mobile phones from the beginning, but will also be available to be downloaded wirelessly. The 3D-version is backwards compatible with the two-dimensional Mophun games that are already out on the market.
ANTE, KAI SE KALH MERIA!

This is talking about the Symbian OS version of Mophun, so T610 isn't included.
How many 3D Mophun games will there be? Five?

If you ask me, I can't see any chance that this is going to be a breakthrough in gaming, from any aspect. It will surely add a bit more fun and sharper graphics, but when it's told that it is made for phones such as 3650, 7650 and P800, I can't see it making any HUGE difference. 7650 and P800 might be mightier than the average mobile phone, but they surely do not future the processing power of modern handheld gaming machines. And even if they did, the so called '3D graphics' aren't going to be much more than pseudo-3D-graphics - That means that it won't be anything more than 2D graphics, put up in such way that they give the impression of 3D...
I can project advanced gaming on mobiles (In comparison to today's level) in more than 1-2 years ahead. Until then, ta ta!

member wildnomad told me that mophun 3d is for phones with 32bit processor running at more than 16mhz, and for phones of or under 8bit and 12mhz, only the 2d will work. it looks like the processor unit of t610 is the same of the t68 (8bit) so no 3d at all for it.

Uhm... what handheld gaming machines are you talking about? I haven't seen a handheld gaming machine that has good graphics at all. As slow as the CPU on the Nokia 7650 and 3650 are... Doom still looks better on them than any game on the GBA. The P800 has much better 3D capabilities, running the full version of Doom, and Interstellar Flames. I feel it's quite the contrary, handheld gaming machines are just overhyped "Game & Watch"es... while mobile phones are the future of portable gaming due to their interconnectivity & network capabilities.

What makes you say that? Go to the mophun page and play the rally game! It quite cool and definetly not *pseudo*-3D. Polygon graphics all the way...

This is what we call "projection". The screen is 2D. The scene is 3D.
I will agree with you that 3D screens lies in the future.
