I can use the Memory Stick out of the P800 with the Digital Camera. Some additional folders for the Camera Pics are then added to the Memory Stick. When I take the Stick back to the P800, I cannot access these pictures! The P800 doesn't recognize those folders.
Evene with a program like QFILEMAN I don't see them.

Anyone got it working? Is there another way to get the pictures into the phone without a PC?

hhmmm.... I use file manger and it works fine!

You must be doing something wrong. I take photos with my DSC P5 sony with duo and stick it in the phone and use fmanager to move the files in the correct dir and then I can see it!

It wont find them unless you move them!

have another go

P800 Zen Master,

This is very interesting you say this works for you. Everyone else I have seen comment that past few months can't get it to work without using a computer as the middleman to transfer files from a camera to the P800.
In fact, I have the same exact setup as you: Sony dsc P5 digicam and SE P800 and doesn't work for me with file manager.
As far as i can see,File manager can't see the directory the camera puts the pictures in. What directory do YOU go to in filemanager that makes the P800 find the digicam pictures ??

Hmmm.. It shouldn't work. And the reason for this is that a folder seen as d:/Media Files on your p800 is actually d:/MSSEMC/P-series/Media Files

and your camera might be d:/MSSEMC/digicam/pictures(just an example)

The p800 cannot go beyond the P-series folder. I am so pissed at for doing this but That's the way it is.

So how P800_Zen_master got it to work is beyond me. The only way I see is that his digital camera stores the pictures in
d:/MSSEMC/P-series too. Which doesn't seem logical.

How can file manager move the pics when it cant even see the directories made by the camera? Is there a hidden folder tab or something? Using a DSC-U20 and cant virw the oics on my P8.
