is there a voice recorder on the p800? so that u could set the text tone or whatever as ur voice?

Yes, there is.

It's the last app in the applications list, and is funnily enough called... Voice Memo.

But, I'm not sure if it will let you use it as an SMS/Ring tone.

I'll have a look.
