About to replace my T68i with a T610, but I want to know if there are any issues with the current iSync release using bluetooth.

I wouldn't want to change phones and be stuck entering manually all my address book entries.

Thanks,

i'm waiting for delivery of my T610 in the morning (or when I wake up as it's morning already) and have a bluetooth adapter ready and waiting......

all i've heard is this http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25448

or to save you reading it all....

Address Book now supports the Sony Ericsson T610 phone.

if they seem to be supporting it already, it's good good news, iSync will get another update soon too, but you should be good to go

oh, btw, have you used salling's clicker software???? where you can use the T68i and the T610 as a remote control????? if so, let me know how it performs yeah?....

There is a review of the T610 by a Mac user here: http://www.j-e-t.net/t610/

In it he say's:

Mac users:

THIS IS THE PHONE FOR YOU! I can't stress it enough, it works perfectly with Apple's software.

1. Sync using Apples own iSync. All contacts from your Mac can be synced with the T610 as well as the calendars in iCal. And that also means full sync support with a palm as well, should you have one.

2. Internet via gprs. Works like a charm through bluetooth, check your email on the road without wires!

3. Salling Clicker support. For those of you that don't know what this little killer-app is, check out http://homepage.mac.com/jonassalling/Shareware/Clicker/index.html right now, it's a Mac must-have! Works perfectly on the T610.

i have a t610 here and it works with the mac tools as expected: GREAT.
the only thing that might confuse users is that time zone conversion and
daylight savings settings are respected when syncing -> so the timezone
and daylight savings settings on the phone have to be correct (or at least
they have to be set to the same settings as the mac) for the synchronization
to work as expected. if that's not the case the appointments will be shifted
in time, so that they fit the local time of the phone. this actually is a great feature, but might confuse some users because the carriers tend to forget to set
these values correctly.

The T610 and Mac is a perfect match. Haven't had any problems since the first time i synced it! And Salling Clicker is used everyday by me!

isync works great. but uploading games via blutooth is NOT possible

there's a freeware alternative to clicker: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18573
