> R2d, bad sound quality
Bookmark topic
Having updated my firmware from r1d to r2d,few says ago, i discovered with amazement that the quality of the earpiece sound had been notably worsen!!
I thought in the beggining that maybe the update wasn't tottaly succesfull but apart from that the phone works very smoothly.
Have anyone else noticed this?? The sound is more shrill and with some distortion.
Well i will be going for R2F as soon as possible hoping it will fix the problem otherwise i am afraid i have to sell because this shriil sound gives me headache sometimes.
With R1d sound was very satisfactory

I have R2F and no such a problem, try to update it then decide.
Maybe the speaker is damaged.

actually after i upgraded to R2D the sound in the speaker is sometimes distorted. This doesn't happen all the time, but it's usually when i have full signal, the other party is talking very loud and the volume of the speaker is at max. One day is there and the other day not, can't explain why though, i suppose i'll have to wait for a next upgrade to see if it's from the firmware.

I don't think is damaged hardware. Maybe i exagerate and gave the impresion that the sound is unlistenable. Is not this the case.i can listen ok but certainly not as good as with the previous firmware.
@mkook This is exactly what i experience after the upgrade. And i thought i was crazy hehe
