Hi everyone.. Ive just made my first T610 theme, and would like you all to comment it. I think Ive got everything right, no missing colors anywhere or so. Please let me know if its working ok (or bad) on your phone.

The theme is optimized with the vodafone icons, dont know how it will look with the originals.

Thanks, Im on a second theme now which will be perfect for outdoor "day" activities. I found some colors to work really good even if there is direct sun at the screen.

I used ericsson theme creator "beta" version to create my other theme. Its really good and well documented. It has some minor problems with predefined colors which dont match the actuall screen colors, but thats to be expected with beta software.

The only thing that's good (and for me very usefull, because I'm working on the new Theme Creator Pro 3G) in Ericsson's Theme Creator is the documentation! Even that the software is in beta phase, it could be much better...

FAO: CentralUnit - could I ask a favour, please? I have downloaded the beta version of the Theme Maker but am having problems getting the themes I make to, er, work. I understand that this is something to do with an issue concerning images, or something, as opposed to colours. I have tried to get around but to no avail...

Anyway, the favour I mentioned - all I want is (for now, at least) a simple black/white/grey theme (mainly black, in terms of headers, etc) that looks clean and simple. I don't suppose you have either made such a thing or know of where to get one, do you, please?

If you could help it would improve my life. Thanks very much!

Create an empty theme without pictures, then set your text colors as far away from background colors possible.

Try to save it.. if you get an errordialog saying "The following color pairs is too close to recognize....." hit NO and change those colors.. or else your theme wont start on the phone.

when your theme is working.. start adding pictures and so on.
I found that gif pictures to works better and faster than jpegs.

You have to save your pictures in compatible jpeg,gif format. Check the doc for more information.
