how does it charge me when im using gprs? there's sent and received, the received is usually higher, it's .50 cents per kb ryt? so is it the sent or received that i have to pay for? and isn't OTA download quite expensive?

In the uk we pay per MB, but when they say £3.00 per MB this would be total transfer ie in and out added together!

and i dont see why it would be different in any other country!

it depends on the network.

for example, in the philippines Globe's WAP over GPRS service is free for it's subscribers. in this case, their GPRS rate of 0.25c/Kb is not applied.

their competitor, Smart, charges 0.25c/Kb for any kind of use of GPRS, including WAP over GPRS.
