You need new GPRS settings when you use Opera. Because Opera can't use the ones that your internal browser use.

Does your provider allow FULL internet access? (Not just WAP)

Hmm ok... well I didn't find the thread I read that in. I got three GPRS settings or if its called accounts on my phone. So I must honestly say that I have no idea about this one then.

Ok, here's the simple version:
-Opera connects to the internet automatically. It needs no additional settings... it will use any availalble internet connection...IR, BT, cable, GSM, GPRS... it doesn't care... nor do you need to tell it which connection you're on.

-Opera can ONLY work on a FULL ACCESS Internet gateway... if your internal browser works, but Opera doesn't, that means that you're using a WAP gateway, NOT an Internet gateway.

-Not all providers have Internet gateways...some only have WAP ONLY gateways. Please check (call, use the telephone if you have to ) with your provider. No one has these settings except your provider, or someone else on the same provider who can surf the Internet... Internet/Email/GPRS settings are NOT universal

@alfa... Opera can't have additional settings, since there's nothing to configure in the browser itself. You're talking about the Internet and WAP accounts on the P800 itself... not in Opera.
