Any information/opinion like this would be great.

The last thing that I knew was the SE has asked mac to write a software for syncing and for the bluetooth...not sure the latest about that yet, but this was a few months ago, so maybe it could be finished soon! The software that comes with the CD is not compatible yet, best thing to do is call SE.
If you live in the UK the number is: 08705237237
Keep me posted if possible, cause i am thinking about buying a mac, and to have software which works with the P800 would be vital for me.

Apple is working on an update for iSync which will be released in about 3 weeks. Read the news on
www.thinksecret.com but they were forced to remove it demand of Apple. However, this news was also been told to me by a SE employee on CeBit this year.

I just got my P800 last week, and it plays quite well with my iBook. I was able to transfer all my addresses to the P800, but there is nothing that will sync your calendar or to-do lists. But I was able to download software, and transfer it, as well as transfer music to the phone. All in all, it went better than I hoped, even if I have to ignore the error message that tells me that the phone cannot accept the files that I send it.
On the Sync front, there are strong rumors that the next version of iSync will work with the P800. There is also OnSync, which I have downloaded, but not yet tried. This month's UK MacFormat has a little article about how good this software is, which is illustrated with pictures of the P800, although I have yet to find any confirmation that the P800 works with OnSync. I am a little nervous about trying it, but if I do, I will be sure to tell you all about it!

Cool looks I will be getting a P800 then. Can anybody tell if Clicker works with the P800 as I have been looking forward to giving it a try but don't want to be stuck having to use my old T68i. Also is it true that you can't use the P800 cradle with the Mac.

clicker only works for proximity sensing (which is all i wanted it for). you can't publish the menu to the p800 yet.
it is VERY cool tho! i have a custom itunes script that checks if itunes is open first before pausing or playing, and my screen saver comes on when i leave etc!! get the matrix screensaver (red pill, from versiontracker) it's sooo cool!
