I have been reading that you can send messages through bluetooth from one phone to the other.
However, just to comfirm you can prevent "bluejacking" (sending messages to another mobile phone without the person knowing) by turning the bluetooth function off?
But even if you turned off bluetooth will the other person (who is "bluejacking") still see the model and make of that mobile phone which has bluetooth turned off?

if you put bluetooth in mode off your phone can't be found if someone near you make a search for other bluetooth devices...

The other phone has to be in the discoverable mode in order to find it and to attempt to send a card.

@rsantiago, ur number wont appear. Works likewise when u send a busines card to nokia.. Its receivd as sms and something like 'BEGIN:note VERSION:1.1... END:..' goes with the note u send.. Unlike if its t68-t68, the recipient accepts the note just as is.
