i reently bought a p800, and used it for a month and it was giving me battery problems coz it was dying in one day... i then went to phones4u(UK)(where i got it from) and they gave me another battery... and charged it and used it, and am having the same thing again... i still did not upgrade the software yet..
P.S. phones4u, wouldnt take the phone back but instead would send it for repairs.. what can i do to solve this thing out???

Have you install a application closer program such as tracker, fileman, handyday as the reason the batter is probaly dying is that you don't close the program after use.

if i use the camera and not close it, my battery will not even last me 6 hours. close the applications after use. no i get about 1.5 to 2 days out of mine.

if after use close all the applications and you still experience this, then take it to a SE Service Centre.

Install Tracker, execellent application.

hope this helps.

I had the same problem, all i did to get it fixed was i uninstalled all the software that i didn't use as much, soon as i did that - the battery was back to normal.....

Try uninstalling unwanted programmes.
Ensure the Screensaver and the Light is set to Auto.

Good Luck.

i do close all the programs, but still it drains out quite quickly.. i dont know whats the problem, and i ddont want to take it to SE customer care now, coz they will take ages, and plus am in Canterbury, Kent, UK.. and i dont know where is the closest SE customer care... and can someone tell me how much time will they take to fix this, coz if it doesnt take alot of time, am going to london next week, and i can drop it there and pick it up in a few hours....

I think it will take a few weeks, and yes, the only thing you can do is send to phone to a repair center. Seems like your battery needs to be replaced.
