> ALWAYS Backup ur P800!!!
Bookmark topic
Well, i nearly learnt the hard way today when all my applications dissapeared from the phone after i installed MIB II: Alien Pursuit. Lucky for me, i had just learnt how to do a backup the day before. So very calmly, (yeah right, i was having a heart attack inside

) , i turned the phone off, then turned it on again...Phew! What a close call..and all the applications appeared again.
What have i to tell u:
So, not doing a simple backup (it only takes 5 mins) if u are lazy or just 'dont have the time' to do so will have u lots of time after losing ALL your precious stuff (ur downloaded ringtones, screensavers, pictures, mp3s, videos ETC)
Guess what, i think i'll backup my p800 now

. Peace Y'all

.
*DO A BACKUP NOW, OR REGRET IT LATER*

agreed!!!
prevention is ALWIZ better than cure.....alwiz back up all yer data....don't matter if it's on yer pc, laptop, pda or mobile.......its time consuming but the upside risk are too high to take a chance....

Yup, never can be too careful when you are talking about the amount of info that we keep in our phones.
Just did a B/U now

Very common issue and doesn't require any restoring whatsover, but i'm sure it could be scary if you don't know about it. When you have over a certain number of apps etc installed (actually, who knows why it happens!), after running some programs ALL your apps list will dissappear. Don't be concerned, simply take the MS Duo out the phone for a second and shove it back in again - everything reappears quickly.
BTW, might've been fixed with R2A package (can't remember it happening to me in the last month or so, since i had the firmware update, but might just be lucky).

Yeah lol, talk about an over-reaction! ^_~
I got 95% of all my stuff stored on my 128MSDUO anyway, so if anything bad happens, no big deal!

I dont really care if anything dissapears... All the apps, mp3's, mp4's and other stuff is in my P800 folder on my computer anyway....

I aint got a PC so the DUO really helps in that respect. Only thing I'm bothered about on the phone itself is my contact list, which i email to myself at work ready to send back again if any problems ^_^

If your data is on your memorystick it doesn't mean it is save!!
Last night I plugged in the charger while the shutdown screen was playing and this morning all my data on the memorystick is gone. Filemanager can't find anything while handyday is saying there is still data on the stick ANY TIPS ???

Yeah, for sure, always back to PC as well, my phone syncs everyday with outlook when I put it in the cradle, takes 30 seconds, but is a good practise to get into.
