> T68m "no access" problem

I live in Bath in the SW of England.
My t68m was working fine until mid March when it started having trouble connecting to the Orange Network.
Nobody else I know on Orange with new-ish phones is having any trouble. I first contacted Orange who sent me a SIM update. I tried inserting friends' sim cards, putting my card in other people's phones, and it is certainly a problem with the phone.
Sony Ericsson said they haven't heard of this before.
A week or two previous to the problem developing, I visited Barcelona, and used the T68m on the 'MoviStar' network.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Has anyone fixed the problem by updating the firmware to the T68i version? Could MoviStar have disabled something that would help my phone work? Please help! I can't afford a new one!

Its a problem with the phone i am on my 4 th t68 get in touch with orange if you have orange care and get it replaced se should know about this problem its very common

I guess now that I have the T610 I'll probably send it to SE to look at since I want to sell it on and don't want to sell a phone with a problem.

man, i had d same problem! About three weeks ago, my Orange reception was so crap i could hardly make a call or send a txt!!! I thought it might've been a technical problem with Orange but my bros reception was perfect. Then d other week, i looked at my phone and it said no access and had lil icon with a handset wit a CROSS (Never seen dat before). I switched my phone off and on..and d problem dissappeared. It seems everything is now fine.
I ought to have contacted Orange...but im a student, hence VERY LAZY.

SE released a software upgrade for the T68i/m etc version 7 and that fixes the no access problem.
