What if they do the same as with the t68 and upgrade to say a T610i with a camera zoom function and switchable covers? Would a software upgrade do the job for the zoom cam?

I don't think SE will release a T610i but I do think they will announce some new models soon to be released in Q3-Q4

I know how you're thinking, I think the same.. but I have to agree with Aqu4rius.. if you wait all the time, you can't get anything. Personally I think they will release T610i sometime.
About the cam, it can't be softwarerelated. I must be a new lens in order to zoom, because it's optical zoom. I don't know if it'll work with digital zoom..

I can see where your coming from with ur T68 experience. However they were exeptional circumstances with two large companies merging. They needed a product on the market with their brand name on it quick so they hashed up the design of the Ericsson T68 so it looked like a Sony Ericsson design, and offcourse added the MMS functionality. The reason why this wasn't added to the T68 at launch is because hardly any of the operators supported the new technology, so Ericsson had to wait for the networks to catch up.
