Hi,
I recently bought a t610 from a vodafone, but I'm really unhappy with the branding stuck all over the phone & in the menu's. Do you guys think i'd be able to get a full refund from them? What kind of thing could I say to them inorder to return the phone?

If you haven't had the phone for more than 14 days you can just return it without having to give them any other reason than you want to. Yes you will get a full refund you will need everything they gave you to be in good order box etc This message was posted from a T68i

Thanx! I've only had in a couple of days. I'll try that tomorrow. I kept everything in good condition, didnt even open the manual because I had a feeling that the branding would ruin the phone.

The above is certainly true if it is a brand new contract and is also true with any other network - it is a requirement to have a cooling-off period at the start of a contract. I know with Orange however that it isn't the same for upgrades and I would hazard a guess it may be the case with Vodafone too so you may have a bit more trouble returning it if it was bought as an upgrade on an existing contract.

If it was bought it mail order (over the phone) then you have 7 days to send it back, otherwise if you bought it in a shop you're stuck with it.

I think everyone should just wait for Orange, this is what you get for jumpin on too quickly. Orange will or should I say should have a small logo somewhere and thats it.

ok guys. it was on payg & they returned it no problem

The only trouble is that I got really desperate for a phone & bought a Nokia 7250 from another shop. I must of been looking in the wrong place because all the reviews i read, gave it the thumbs up

OMG it sucks big time!!!! the screen seems sooo small compared to the t610 & the colours are dreadfull.

even the games suck because there is too much ghosting!.

Dont get me started on the camera either....

Looks like i'll be sending back another phone

You also get a 14 day return period on upgrades. Law states that with all retail items you can return the goods within 7 days of purchase as long as the goods are deemed by the retailer to be in the same condition as when they were purchased. This message was posted from a T68i
