Please could someone answer these questions?
Can you change the alert tones for receving txt messages etc...?
When the phone is on screensaver mode and someone rings you does it get out of screensaver and then ring or just rings and you have to get out of screensaver mode to pick up the call? Is it a similar method when receiving txt messages? Is screensaver mode like keypad lock?
Is the vibration when someone rings you on the T610 strong or weak ?
Can you customise profiles? To what extent?
When you recieve a miss call does the phone have a message on the main screen telling you that, like the nokia's do or do you have to find it out manually?
I have tried searching for the answers but the search engine came with nothing....?

Ok to start you might find reading the download PDF manual useful. You can find it
here.
yes you can change the message text alert tones.
you don't have to do anything to answer a call from screensaver mode except press yes to answer.
The vibration on my T610 is very good. As good or better than my T68i.
Just about every option of the profile is customisable.
Missed calls are alerted on the screen.
I hope that helps and answers all your questions!

1) Tones can be changed on the t610 for rcv msgs.
2) When the phone rings it rings instantly, there is no delay of any sort for you to pick the phone (atleast in mine). You can pick it up immediately. For receiving text msgs, when im in standby it takes the phone sometimes 1 sec to 6-7 seconds for me to be able to get to view the message. (Tho someone said on their phone they dont have that problem, maybe coz i have a few msgs on the sim? Anyone else?)
3) Vibration is preety normal , can say same as the T68i.
4) I think SE has one of he best customisable profiles. SAme goes for the T610 very customisable.
5) Yes it informs you of a missed call.

thanks for your replies/answers to my questions on the T610
I was just wondering if bluetooth was enabled on the T610 can someone contact the phone via bluetooth and for example change some of the contacts in the phonebook, save stuff in the phonebook or even transfer phonebook contacts to their phonebook without the user knowing?
because thats a security issue with the T610 phone..that means bluetooth has to be off so no-one messes around with the phone?

No, I have my T610 bluetooth set to on all the time but there is another setting which makes it visible (discoverable) or not.
This means that paired devices will still work but no one else can find your phone if trying to discovery.

you can enable/disable the bluetooth from the t610 with 3 simple "clicks". so it is very easy to enable the bluetooth when you need it and all the rest of time the bluetooth remains off -> no problems with bluejacking...

if you get an FTP transfer over BT you do not get the "accept" question. The phone accepts automaticly
