> Confirm about 4mb t610

The t610 has just been released in singapore.
so i called ericsson customer service.
i asked the gal about the 4mb version and is it true?
she said there are plans to but not sure released date will be.
and the 2mb cannot be upgraded to 4mb later.
also asked her about hissing problem but she said they have no info about it and do not know that problem exist.

anyway, i wouldnt just take the customer service officer's word for it.
i went to M1 shop at parkway during lunch and asked them about the 4mb and hissing.
they knew nothing at all...
i'm find it strange that SE do not released any official words about the hissing problem or at least let the sales people know what's going on.
they just kept saying dun know.
anyway, read from another thread that the user advised to wait..
but am so tempted to buy it just now.
sigh....... guess have to try and wait..
anyone from singapore,. brought the phone??

Spoke to SE in the UK.
When I asked about the 4MB T610, the persons I spoke to said they don't know about it, but they did not deny it. There is something new everyday at SE, so we cannot confirm anything until we see a press release. The lady I spoke to answered it is 2MB, and would not be pressed on anything. She had a monotone answer. Seemed like they were hiding something.

Is it true that the t610 only has 897kb of usable memory?, thats how much it comes with out of the box and if you cant delete the preinstalled crap then I cant be doing with less than 1mb memory!.

I had to remind him what the T610 was (it aint coming out here in like 2yrs, kinda like the states
)
he said the hissing is no present in all phones, and also that the 4MB refers to all the memory.. like total.. but user only has 2mb to fiddle around with...
I doubt they wld release a 4mb T610 any time soon.. it wld piss off a lot of users and make them loose customers.
