hi guys there still seems to be a big debate whether the hissing is softare or hardware problem but .....today orange network over here in hong kong received further stocks of t610 and i went to the shop and tried 6 phones but guess what ? all these phones even frm the new batch had very bad hissing. i m wondering now that is there any phone out there without this problem ? i bought the phone 2 weeks ago and returned it and finally after trying this batch today .....hve asked the network to refund my money as there is nooo way mi gonna buy a phone which is defective and have waited for more than 2 weeks and tried several phones frm the new batches they keep receiving but no luck. and my advise to anyone who wants to buy this beatiful phone is WAIT ! take my advise......u wouldn't want to shell out a lot of money for a phone which has a defect problem no matter how good it looks. and believe me the hissing is very noticeable and it annoys a lot ! its a pity that even the new batches are still having this problem.....and sony ericsson has not officially said anything about it .

I bought mine here in HK, with warranty but on OP Comm in TST east.

There's no absolutely no Hiss... even on quiet office.. but the BT headset has static noise..

I'll be returning it and going back to Nokia 7250...
