As the topic says...the opera browser on my phone cannot open web page..so for me to surf, i hve to go to Edit->Preferences then type the page i wanna go to as a Homepage..that's how i'll be able to use the net..Whats wrong??

Are you connecting using WAP settings or GPRS internet setings?

Opera needs GPRS internet settings and will not work if the conection is via WAP.

btw. Your avatar shows a T610 but I asume you are using Opera on the P800?

I was connected using the usb cradle to my pc...however, i am now using GPRS..but am still having the same problem regardless of the connection type. l tried uninstalling & reinstalling Opera as well ( it only started abt an hour ago..) & I didn't change the Opera settings..so whats the problem??

EdIt: i think my Opera is screwed up..tried uninstalling & re-installing it ..but that damned problem still persists

How bout installing another browser and then back to Opera?

Or backup everything on the phone and then flash the phone..

@TTRR .. i have a p800, but not the T610 ( the only T610 i have is my avatar ) ..so i would not be able to recommend a phone to u. It all depends the features u are looking for too.
