Check out this post:

Yep, sorry. Didn't have time to reply.

The 4mb version is on the way, the manuals have been reprinted and the phones re-packaged. The decision was apparently made a while ago but the first few thousand palette loads had already left the production line (wherever that is).

There's not been any official announcement but people are receiving 4mb handsets already in parts of Europe. Have a look at the Esato and mobile-review forms for some screenshots and scans of the manual.

As for a release date, i've no idea. I'd imagine it would be pretty soon (few weeks?), and probably appear on the unbranded handsets before the Vodafone Live ones which are all from the initial batch.

I'll sell my current unbranded one if the bargain basement Orange stock has the 4mb and no hiss.

I'm pretty sure there won't a 4mb t610, and I'm starting to get sick off all the rumours.

Where on Esato can I find that?

Damn, I want to know now. I have ordered at T610 but I can cancel that order if this is true.

Good example how rumours spread and get their own life (hope not - t610 with 4mb would be good idea though)

Hole thing started with a fake pic of the manual and mobile-review.com bought it.
