got ir remote app great programe lacks sky digital control main problem is the lr thing only works when i am lnches from the device why is the p800 lr transmiter so crap? any lmprovement ldeas?

I actually get about 4-5 meters with IR Remote. I think the problem is not that the transmitter is crap, but rather that you have to be very precise as to the direction it is pointing. It can still be very frustrating nevertheless.

I was using the cracked version for a bit, but as mentioned before, you have to be really accurate with poiinting it, kinda takes the fun out of it

@ndobrev how does the bluetooth control the TV, do you have to get an infrared transmitter that accepts BT signal, I don't think my TV has a BT receiver in it already

Sorry guys, obviously I misunderstood your problems. I meant controlling your P800 from your computer, and you mean using P800 as a remote control for TV, as far as i understand.
But why would u need that anyway. I doubt that it could be better than a good old TV remote.

it's a cool software to have. example your at a mates house and he can find the remote. how impressive would it be to whip out your p800 and do it through that while he's looking for the remote. another cool thing is to walk in to a shop i.e. sony shop stand in front of the tv display you know their masive wall display of many tv's get out the p800 while people are around shout in action film hero style voice ENOUGH tap the standy by button and voila all the tv's turn off no one has a clue to what just happened. Its great! imagine the possibiloties. Your in town and want to know the footie scores go to any shop selling tv's and use your p800 remote to accses teletext the possibilities are endless as you can control amps,dvd players, hi-fi's, video players. go create where do i find the cracked version?.
