Hi

Just what are T-Mobile like in the UK?
I have been a Vodafone customer for the last 6 years but I have heard that Vodafone give best coverage, customer care etc, followed by Orange then O2 with T-Mobile at the bottom.
The reason I am asking is because I sm really PO'ed by the Branding on my T610 and as toying with the idea of cancelling my week old contract and going to T-Mobile instead. Is the likely to be a bad move?
I tried O2 for about 3 days in October last year and I thought they were terrible.

Cheers

don't bother with t-mobile, they're rip off merchants, they really are. as for coverage, they are pretty good, apparently nearly as good as o2.

but u can't beat vodafone when it comes to coverage yeah orange is good also, not so good with the coverage, but general customer service etc and benefits u get eg textsaver and groupsaver. I've been with orange for 3 years now, had no complaints

I have been with one2one/T-Mobile for the last 8 years. Coverage and reception wise, they are roughly the same as Orange. For the best coverage anywhere, you can't beat O2 or Vodafone. It is something to do with signal travel and frequency (900Mhz against 1800 MHz). My closest friends have migrated to Orange because the customer service at T-Mobile is average though inproving. Cost wise T-Mobile are still the cheapest only just though. Orange do their price promise. But once you are with T-Mobile, and if you spend upwards of £60 per month with them, they treat you very well indeed. I have been offerd an additional 200 mins, and a few other extras, all in worth £25 for free per month for a year. Free upgrade after 6 months because my T68i was a poor phone etc. Depends on your priorities. Also some of the UK networks are starting to charge per minute/half minute again, as well for voicemail, itemised billing etc. It all adds up!!! Think carefully about your decision. I have probably been of no use!!!

ive been with T-mobile for over 8 years, when it was one2one, and Mercury communications!

why does everyone put them down?
Ive never had any trouble with them, and find the reception as good as any other.
i always get free upgrades, and other offers, and now im even on the employee tariff (thanks to a friend), which entitles me to 50% off my monthly bill!

Hi

Thanks, so, is the T610 on T-Mobile nearer to the original unbranded version than the voda version?
Does it come already setup for GPRS ala voda version or do I need to contact their customer support and subscribe to T-Zones?

Cheers

The T610 on Tmobile only has the Tmobile brand at the bottom and 2 logos in the main menu TZones and Downloads the rest are original and not as horrible as what Vodaphone did to the phone was horrified when i saw that today at work.
