The main problem with handsets on o2 is that they have to be approved first. I know other networks need to do this too, but o2 seem to take a bit longer.

When I spoke to O2 they said do not expect it any earlier than 6 weeks, due to the way that they test their phones, it makes sense cause the P800 just came out now, while on voda and orange it has been out for months....I think it is a good policy, think about it, you will have to wait, but at least you know that the phone will have fewer bugs...like hopefully without the hissing noise!

Ive noticed 02 isn't talked about in these forums, and when it is you guys have bad words to say about it!
As far as coverage goes, its perfect in the country and when i go to work in the city. All the networks have 99% anyway.
Customer Service is the same as anywhere elese. You get good people and u get the bad ones. If your judging Customer service on if you can blag a free phone then that says it all. Plus how many times do you customer service?? Its something you do in a blue moon, not everyday!
And their offpeak tariffs are amazing:
for 20 quid a month:
500 mins off peak to landline/02 (2p if you use all your free minutes)
50 mins offpeak to any network
500 free txts
-considering a txt alot and talk in the eveing alot to landline and most my mates r on 02, this deal rocks.
But they'r all the same, just depends what tariff is best for u
