I just killed my P800 noticed that there is a 256KB file "SlopFile.ini" in the main C:\ drive of my p800. I opened it up to notice it was a few pages worth of text that is just a repeat of the string "0123456789abcdef" so i deleted it
Restarted my phone and everything was alright looking in the drive c: again i found the same file!!! so I thought to myself that the phone recreated this file
My Very SMART idea was to edit the file to a single string and change it to a read only file so that the phone can't edit it
Here is my problem, now when i start the phone, the animation plays as normal then and informative msg box pops up saying "The internal file system was found to be corrupted and will now be formatted" there is also a Continue button
Of course when i click, the phone will attempt to reformat the file which is READ- ONLY so the phone just hangs in there with the LEDs on
Anyone with comments or solutions other than using it as a torch

lol (sorry but it is kinda funny!).

Get it to a service point and see what they can do for you.

Well the worst thing is that i am in the middle of my -level exams and i haven't made a backup in a month, so if it is flashed all the new stuff are gone i don't care about contacts or anything else except for the (Calander) all appointmets and meetings with Uni's are there
