> Clie TG50 sms app doesn't work with P800

I had no problem sending text messages using the sms software of my clie TG50 connected by bluetooth with my T68i. When I tried it with the P800, it doesn't work and I am asked for a phone driver. Has anyone in this forum have the same problem and was able to solve it?I will be glad if anyone can help. TIA

I just hope SE will soon come out with a driver for the P800, same as they did with the t68i. In the meantime, I'm back to my old reliable, trusty t68i that mates like a charm with my Clie TG50.
Others might ask ... why not just use the sms function of the P800? Well for one ...
1.When I'm reading avantgo with the Clie TG50 and get a text message, I don't have to bring out the P800 from my clutch bag to reply to the message. 2.Likewise while editing a document in Quickword and Quicksheet with the TG50.
I suppose at this point in time, I am still stuck with a Phone & PDA combination until SE taps the full potential of the P800. And they better make it fast, given the short life span for this gadgets.

I don't know this application, but on my SMS manager software, the T68i settings didn't work with my T610, so I set it to "Generic BT dialup" and this worked perfectly.
You could try something similar... it might work.
