£169.99 on Orange Just Talk - can't be bad. So I emailed them about availability and prices and this was their response:

Yeah, I've been shouting out about this site since I found it. They seem very genuine and have been very honest with me. And they haven't been p*ssed off yet at me for harrasing them for my phone! I'm doing the £40 on orange 120, sweeeeet!

I think avr are full of false promises, most of the phone websites (apart from a select few) have been promising this phone end of may beginning of June, and avr say that the phones ordered on contracts will be the first to be delivered, but as of yet I've not heard of anybody with one of these phones on an orange contract and it's nearly the end of May.

Orange have told us to expect a July launch, and I think that this is more likely. I'm desperate for mine to be delivered, my T68i is coming to the end of it's life, but I'm happy to hang on for a hissing free unit with SE original menu structure (rather than the butchered Vodaphone handset.)

All that said, the pricing of this phone has suprised me, a SE camera phone with a resonable spec list for free on talk 200, can't be bad, especially when you consider the £50 price hike a couple of months ago on new phones. Compare it with the Panasonic GD87 (for want of a better example) £64.99 on the same contract. You must be mad to pass this one up.

Well, AVR have been honest when I've phoned and said its orange who are holding them back which is true. There probably overoptomistic more than anything.

I phoned them up and a guy there (Gavin) has promised to phone orange and get back to me this afternoon.

If you think your phones old...I have a sony CMD Z7 with a microphone problem, which means its occasionably unusable!!! I love the jog dial though, wish they'd swap the joystick for it.
