Its only £255 on PAYT Vodafone and its around £225 on T-mobile PAYG (well thats what the estimate is from them).
This would make it very accessable. The T68i when launched was like the most expensive (£350-£400) and best in its class but tnow with the T610 its much cheaper (and better) than the competition (ie- 7250,V200 etc)
I think its good for the

sales point of view but bad for people who like exclusivity like me
What do you think?

But then again, the public won't buy that many because it's not a nokia.

OH they would believe me! With a built-in camera and a 65K colour screen people would forget that its not a Nokia coz the closest rival 7250 is around £100 more!

By the time it becomes popular with the "masses" (probably at least 9 months), there'll be something better for us to have !
You have to remember how many people there are out there with three year old phones who don't really want a new one ... it's just people like us who are buying new phones all the time !! It's only just now that everyone seems to have a T68 / T68i, and that is 18 months after release ....

Price won't matter, Nokia phones have always been more expensive, have less features, and sell more than other brands.
7250 actually costs a lot less than the T610. You have to compare blank phone prices, not subsidized prices.

and there more they sell, the more money SE will get, and hopefully the more they will spend on making better phones for us!
