As on the t68, is there any way to check how much time is left on the T610, both for standby and talk time? I thought this was a very handy thing to have, but would be somewhat disappointed if it wasn't/isn't included on the T610...

You can't check talk and stand-by time on the T610. I've heard rumours that it will be available on the next SW-upgrade...

I don't really think it will... Heard that

removed it caused it just created confusion with the average user....

Do they think we're stupid? It was a pretty straight forward - and handy - feature...

i think SE changed it to a percentage gauge because the time gauge will be very erratic given that you can do a lot more with your fone now than before and that means more battery consumption.

Would you have any idea how I find this out?

I don't think its in the next software, or any software.
Its something in the battery thats is missing...
How I think I know, I tried the t610 battery on my t68i, and it didn't show the times... So I guess that this is a functions that the battery must support... So even if they put this in the t610 we all need to change the battery..
OR maybe I'm wrong, maybe the reason for that the battery status didn't show up in the t68i was only because they've upgraded the batteries so that T68i didn't work with it..
Has someone else expiremented with this?
I tried to put my t68i battery on the t610 but the battery is to large, the battery contacts didn't reach.
....

The average user (not us here at Esato) takes the information letteraly. Eg. if it says that there's 24hrs standby left, they complain when it only work in 16hrs....

When my T68i shows 0hr talktime and 0hrs standby
I can still talk pretty long time and often standby another 10hrs or so.
Its nice to get an estimation though
Is there any T610 users who had the phone for more then a week now
that can tell if the battery lasts as long as the T68i one?
I love the batterytimes I get on my T68i I always tease the nokia users
when their phones keep dying for them in the middle of calls.
It would be a shame if T610 had lower batterytime that would make me
think twise about upgrading to that model. (I can understand if using the camera alot would drain the battery quicker though)
