Which phone is better ?
From wat ive herd about them, they sound about the same apart from the odd thing being different (v600 has no IR)..
Also does anybody know when the v600 will be out ?

V600 seems better to me..... in the sense that it is newer... it is quadband (a + for those travelling in the USA often) and it seems very fine.

My friend who works at Motorola has one and he let me play with it for a couple of days. It's REALLY REALLY REALL nice. Definitely blows the pants off of the Z600. The polyphonic sounds and the screend on this thing are AMAZING.
He has a really early firmware on it, so I couldn't get it to pair with my UX50 or anything else for that matter, but once this thing gets updated, it will be really nice.
The size is about the same as the V60 but has 1,000,000 more features. I think I will probably get one when it comes out. This would be the only phone to take me away from SE.

I'm assuming the v600 will be similar to the v500 so this is my opinion of the v500.
Firstly you can't send pictures or sounds or any other files by bluetooth apart from business cards. You can't have more than one number under a contact such as home phone, email and mobile but it stores it as 3 different contacts which is quite annoying. you can only recieve files. The stuntman game on there is amazing though, best mobile game i've played.
Secondly, been a motorola everything seems to be in the wrong place in the menus and it seems to be quite confusing to find where everything is. It takes quite a few button presses to get to write a text message unlike the t610 when it's a simple joystick movement.
You only get about 2 days battery life off it. The ringtones are quite quiet but the mp3 ringtones are well good but expensive to download if you don't get free gprs.
The phone is alright but it just annoys me and i got quickly bored with it. It's quite big as well but i'm not a fan of flip phones.
Its your choice to find out what you like but my advice is to always try out the phones.

If you need IMAP4 and you are with O2, then don't bother to get the V600.
I got mine on the 9/01 and after one week, I sent it back. O2 said they will not support the IMAP e-mail settings on the V600, which is rather strange because my old T68i and new Z600 both have IMAP e-mail setup and working perfectly. O2 still said they won't give support for IMAP on the V600. I enquired three times and got this same answer.....
Other than that it was a great phone! Really liked it, but the Z600 is doing all for me, and more!
