please can some one just tell me whats wroung with my settings cause my e-mail aint working im on 02 and have a 68i

connect using: 02 wap gprs
protocl: pop3
inc. server: 193.113.160.13
incomin port: 110
mailbox: xxxxx@o2.co.uk
password: xxxxxxx
outgoing server: 193.113.160.13
outgoing port: 25
e-mail address: xx@o2.co.uk

please help me or if you have it working just tell me your settingsbut not username or password

one last thing it worth ringing o2to try get it working and ask toget my mms working or is it waste of time.

Possibly you need to change the Connect Using option to something like 'O2 Net GPRS' or 'O2 Data GPRS'. Inquire O2 about APN. This message was posted from a T68i

yep. You will have to use a O2 GSM connection for email.

edit: If you still haven't got MMS setup correctly then it is unlikely that you have had your account GPRS enabled. You will need to phone up O2 and get them to enable GPRS and MMS but this will not fix your email problem. You MUST use a GSM connection for email.

Yo...
You don't actually have to use GSM for use with pop3, you can use GPRS.

Change your access point to mobile.o2.co.uk in your data account. Wap.o2.co.uk does not have any ports open for pop3.

If you have any queries on whether your account is provisioned for mobile web, call 08705 860 860 opt2 opt2 and ask what is on your account. These guys will be able to help you.

hey every one thank you soooooooo much for your help i got my mms workng after all i founnd a website that helped me out

but i htink im going to do one setp at a time and will work out -mail later on thanks any way
