Hey dde, the latest firmware is R2F. I would seriously suggest upgrading to it. The benefits you get will be worth the approx. 1.5hour wait while it upgrades ie SMS delivery reports, improved picture quality of camera, handrwriting recognition.

Trust me you wont regret it. By the way make sure you have a backup copy of all you contacts before you do so.

See ya,
Lightboy:)

it has been there since the R2D software
When you are writting an sms go to the second tab (I looks like and msn messenger buddy with a @ sign on top

The only problem is that you have to do it everytime you want to send an sms ,,, and if you tick it and exit the sms thwn it will be unchecked again

@Fahed_2000

Cheers, never noticed the tab before.

Does it cost anything for the message reports as it is delivered like an SMS?

Proceed any SMS with
*N#
to receive an extended delivery report. Which means max. 157 characters for your message. A "test" message then would look like
*N#test

Note: you can also detect whether a person is available by sending this SMS - when somebody switches the mobile on, i.e. attaches to the operator network, (and assuming the SMS could not be delivered so far), you will be instantly notified.

This service is free.
