> t610 on Voda, cam pics not saved
Bookmark topic
just got my t610 today but whenever I "capture" a picture it doesn't appear in "my pictures" the manual says it should ask me to save but it just goes back to the main menu.
Anyone any ideas what I am doing wrong ?

I have an unbranded T610 and I haven't checked the manual to see if it mentions this but when I take a pic I get the send and discard options.
I have found that if I just press the joystick in it stores the picture in "My Pictures" and gives a message saying "Picture saved in My Pictures" and then returns to the capture mode so you can take another picture.

Yeah- left option key is to send, right option key to discard and there is a little floppy disk icon above the joystick- click the stick and it should get saved to My Pictures

hmmh. Thanks for the replies but I get none of these options.
The left key says "capture" and the right says "more". None of the menu seems to have any options regarding the camera and/or saving to my pictures.
Am at a bit of a loss what to do.

Hmmm... it sounds like maybe you did not understand so I will be clearer.
Take a picture and when you have the send and discard options just simply press the joystick in and it will save the picture to My Pictures.
It must be the same for you as for everyone else surely?
Well I hope so anyway. Good luck!

Thats my problem I don't get the send or discard options. Weird eh. Just done a master reset and they still don't appear.
Just been back to the voda shop and he agrees it knackered, he hasn't seen it before.
He offered to exchange but I said if they are getting the non-hissing batch in from June 6 I will wait till then. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Well capture and more are what it should say when you are ready to take a picture - then just press either the camera button again on the side, the left soft key or the joystick button and this should take a snap you should get a please wait message while it prepares the image and then you should get the send/disk icon/discard options.
Does you phone not take pictures at all then or just revert to the capture/more buttons once you've taken a picture?

there´s 2 options, send or cancel (or something), but then there is a disk, betwean them, just click on the joystick and it will save it!

I get the please wait (and the egg timer)
then it just goes back to the Camera icon on the main menu, not other options.
Done a master reset a couple of times just to try and get to a "clean" state. But still no joy.
