> how to transfer imy files to T68i on a mac?

I am trying to transfer imy files from my Mac G4 OS 10.2.6 to my T68i via BT.
But am having major problems.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Here is what I try to do:
1) I copy the imelody text of a ringtone such as one posted below
2) I paste the text into a file using a mac word processing application,
I have tried OSX Text edit, OS9 simple text, MS Word, BBEdit programs.
I save as text only and give it a .imy extention.
3) I send the file via bluetooth to my phone.
Usually what happens is I get a failure of file transfer.
Occasionally the file is transferred, and then is placed in "my sounds".
If this happens I can see the file, but it will not make any sound
if I try to play it, it is dead.
