My friend was fooling around with my P800 when he accidentally enabled device lock without knowing the code.
I tried the 0000 and 1111 codes to no avail.
Is it possible to reset it? I purchased this from a small store which has apparently run out of business or moved so I cant get help from them.

take it to a SE Service Center.
they can unlock your phone.
it's free if it's still under warranty.
