Hi
Cheeers to vadlv for his explanation. But I still think the battery using is not consistent with my use.

BUt anyway, I downloaded File manager from My-Symbian. very good apps, just like using Win Explorer. Everything is pretty much easy to find what to do.

The small thing is the Task List, under File. Could someone explain this to me please. Is this for closing applications running in the background? On my phone it show EChess, would it be ok to close this file to improve process and battery life? What things should not be closed? Don't want to mess up phone, but have backed-up b4 installing.

Last thing is does anyone know a good site to download the doom wad files?

Cheers

Yes, use the tasklist to close all programs that you are not using. This will indeed increase your battery life....

Cheers, Swag

I assume the standard Task List should be left as they are:
File Manager
EiksrvBackdrop
Applications.....to Messages (7 in all)

Anything else can be closed,right??

Cheers

If you close something like messages, the next time you tap on the messages icon, you'll get a box saying "opening messages" and you'll just have to wait for a second. I'm not sure about beamer though, i daren't try that.

Beamer is just for if u send summin 2 the phone via IR/Bluetooth, it puts the files in the Beamer section in Messages. I always kill the app.
I usually have just Applications, Phone, Tracker and EiksrvBackdrop on - as none of which you can actually kill no matter how many times u try!
