> how's your T610 performing?

I'm writing this post about the battery of the T610. It claims that the standby time can be up to 315 hours. Whilst I understand the words "up to" can have a broad meaning, I can't get ANYWHERE near 315 standby out of the battery. If my maths are correct, than 315 hours is equal to 13.125 full days. I would be lucky if I got 5 days out of it... and i mean VERY lucky with absolutely minimum calls. So my question being, is SE full of crap in terms of the specs. or is there something wrong with my battery or phone? I'm very interested to see how much time are you getting out your your battery. For the record, my light is on "automatic" and I don't play around with the phone at all. Probably received one 5 min call in the 5 days coz the rest I diverted to my land line. I've charged the phone 6 times since I bought it.

hope you know that it also takes alot of power when you are playing around with it, play games, makes ringsignals, edit phonebook ans so on. not as much as if you where making cals, but alot more then ordenery stand-by. this is how it is on every mobile phone.
my last one week, but then i was playing as hell with it!

I think the standby time depends a lot on how much you play around with the phone and how good the reception is. SE has removed the standby time from the status info, probably because it differs a lot and depends on so many things that it canīt be determined.
I have to charge my phone every 3 days but a play around a lot with it.

Stanby time depends not only on phone activity, but also on the network. The phone uses much less power at maximum signal then at minium signal. The maximum standby time is usally the longest the phone can be ON but inactive, at maximum signal level. That means if you put your phone away and not touch it, it will probably last for nearly the specified maximum standby time

look many people have a wrong thought about standby time
standby time means that you take out your sim card of your phone and leave it on the table without touching and letting it run flat...
the stand by time is always much less because when you enter your simcard het starts searching for his network and if you use the phone it uses alot of power offcourse

Anyway, it's a misleading figure since nobody leaves his/her phone in standby anyway.

If I compare my new T610 with my old T68 i can say this.
My T68 was said to have about 300hours standby, the T610 is suposed to have 315, my T68 lasted about a week If I used it in a normal way for me, but the T610 have to be recharged after 4-5 days if I use it like I used my T68. So I am a bit dissapointed about the standby time on this one.

will always inprove standby times. but thats only when your phone is on and you don't use it. i think a normal 2-5 days whit a this phone is normal. my P800 is doing 2-3 and i use it alot, my T68 has 3-6 days. it all depens on what you do whit it, and wich network. and don't forget the difirence between 1900/900/1800/E-gsm use, and in some country's you've got a dual band network, wich will use a bit more of you phone's batery.
