Is it possible to make a recording of something (ie off the radio, speech, etc) and use it as a ringtone on the T610? I can remember older sony phones having this option, but am not sure of the T610...

T610 doesn't support wav files as ringtone... but if you record a piece of music and convert it to MIDI you can use it as ringtone.

Nah...sorry mate. The recording feature is only for recording voice convos and memos. It is designed so that you can listen when you have the phone up to your ear.
So im pretty sure it won't work for recording rongtones.
sorry.

if i remember right it was the old sony J5 and J7 that could do that. so im guessing this person assumed cos sony and ericsson merged to make SE that sony might have put this idea to ericsson.
