> T610 voice dialing strange problem

i find sth about T610 very strange
wth nokia phones, u just access all your sim card phone number from the sim card right ?
but after i got my T610, put my sim card in, if u want to use "speed dial", voice dial, put pictures for each contact, etc ..... you will need to copy all your sim card number to the phone, taken as phone memory
so i did allow it to copy from sim to the phone, and hot sync with outlook also on the pc ....
then i set to voice dialing control for contact ABC, if ABC is copied from the sim card, u put a voice, u can see the voice symbol next to the person's name, then u press and hold the volume - button, and say the name after the tone, but it will not dial
then i find out, if u directly save the number to the phone, then the voice dialing will work
so for the 10 people that i want to add voice dialing, i find out i need to first delete these 10 people from the phone, just delete contact, then re-add this 10 people back again, then add voice command for each person, then the voice dialing will work
is this very strange ?
why like this ?
just not very advance
anyone have this problem ?

i had same problem i got around it by putting the number in again in another slot i.e work or home, when i voice dialed then it gave me a choice and worked normally after that

I think the problem is, when you copy contacts from a Blockia to a SE via outlook it puts the contacts in "other" . I had to change all my contacts in outlook before loading the SE T610 to "mobile" or "home" as 70% of them were listed as "other". Hope this helps

it`s not a problem, but a normal issue. To add a oice tag u have to use the phone memory, so they ask u to copy the number in the phone.This is made to ease the memory access unless u want it to take 10 seconds to work..and anyway, what`s the big deal?! U have 500 locations..
